Restyling a few old favorites with a few new pieces. I know you guys are probably tired of seeing this vest every winter, but it’s such an easy piece to layer with because it adds such a cool texture and not to mention it is super warm! This Flannel dress is also from last year (you can see how I styled it here). By just changing the layering piece and switching out the OTKB for a calf boot makes these old pieces feel current and fresh.

I had been on the hunt for a pair of calf boots since October. Last year I pulled the trigger on the brown Alexander Wang because there wasn’t a lot of other option currently on the market, but this season I had a hard pulling the trigger on an expensive pair because almost every brand had a version so I couldn’t justify the higher price tag. However, I will tell you it took me until now to find a pair that I was actually happy with so I am not sure how worth the wait was, lol. But non the less, I finally settled on these Steve Madden pair and they are really comfortable. I really wished they weren’t textured, but hey for the price point I can’t complain. However, I think next year I will invest in a better pair because I’ve already worn these like every day so I think i’ll get my $$ out of them.

I hope you have a great rest of the week! XxOx, Marisela
