Typically speaking I am a cold weather girl. but there is something about spring that makes me feel revived, the gorgeous blooms, brunch on a patio, the perfect evening for a long walk, and not to mention the new cute clothes flood my favorite stores. Everything about it just makes spending a day inside seem like such a waste of time, am I right?

When it comes to refreshing my wardrobe for spring I’m a sucker for separates that have interesting texture that will easily be reworked the entire season. This woven jacket is spring! First off, its light weight, the textured pattern is gorgeous and the tassels are so on trend. I think it’s the perfect topper to add interest to a simple outfit like jeans and a t-shirt. I’m already planning on styling it with relaxed shorts, and espadrilles. It’ll definitely be something I will reach for all spring. And if you are not 7 months pregnant, I think this jacket would look super cool styled with high waisted shorts, a simple white deep v-neck tee tucked in, a statement belt and cool ankle boots for a total coachella vibe.

When it comes to shoes, I like to keep it classic with a little bit of interest. I want my shoes to give me a lot of miles (pun intended) so when I find a comfortable shoe that is on trend I feel like I won the lottery. These laser cut, block heel, mules made me say a little prayer before I tried them on. I was like, please let these fit because they will work with anything. Shorts, jeans, dresses and skirts. Trust me when I say these are my go-to spring shoes, I mean it. And if you can find them in your local Marshalls, you have to get them. The heel height is just right and the block heel makes them so easy to walk in.

XxOx, Marisela

BABY’S HIT LIST

Activity Center Easton has loved this thing since he was four months. He’s 8 months in a few days and while he no longer tolerates sitting in it because he’s totally mobile, he now pulls himself up on it and still plays with the attachments. You can actually turn it into an activity table by placing…
