Happy Monday! Although Mondays with a newborn are just another regular day. This weekend was a pretty good one for me. It started on Friday with a solo trip to the mall where I was able to score a couple of good sale pieces (not from the Nordstrom Sale!). I started off at Zara to check out their fall collection which is really good, but I ended up getting a velvet blazer that was on sale for $50! Then I headed over to Macy’s and snagged this LBD by BCBG for $80! It’s such a good dress and something I will have in my closet forever!!!!. On Saturday, I caught up with a girlfriend for lunch then ended the day at a party with my little fella. He ended up having such a good time. He was giving away smiles when we first got there and then he just passed out for the remainder of the time!

I am not gonna lie, I am struggling to find pieces that work with this new (temporary) body of mine. I have new problem areas that I have to work around like, these huge boobs, wider hips and pooch. I mentioned in my last post, that dresses are not working for me these days, but when I saw this one, I couldn’t resist. For one, it’s gingham! Second, it so happens to work with all of my current problem areas, but I especially like that I was able to buy it in my pre baby size which means I won’t have to take it to my tailor once I get back to normal!

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

XxOx, Marisela
