Lets talk fashion. One of my favorite trends for fall is mens inspired wear (post coming tomorrow), or what I like to call, woman is the new man. It’s a trend I am very comfortable with. I attribute it to being a child of the 90’s when baggy clothes were the jam, and also working for conservative corporate america in the early 2000’s when A business suit was mandatory and sexy high heels were discouraged. The fact that loafers are making a major comeback has me feeling a little nostalgic and regretful for not saving the amazing ones I rocked back in the day.
No joke, I stalked these leather coach loafers for a couple of weeks at a department store, but the $198 price tag held me back. I absolutely love everything about them. From the silver metallic color (super on trend), and the black suede accent with the top stitch, to the pointed toe. They are the right mix of masculine and feminine and the perfect touch to polish off a casual outfit. These will be on repeat all season long. You’ll see me rocking them with a chic pair of slacks at the office or with a great little skirt, tights and a sweater!
