CACHÉ + LOUISE ROE EVENT

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enuogh to be invted to the launch of Caché’s newly redisigned flagship store at Fashion Show Mall. Yes ladies, I said flagship! That means that this particular Caché will receive the best of the best styles, season after season. Only makes sense since Caché is all about special occasions, and who has more special occasions then Vegas? No one!

I will be the first to admit that it had been years since id been to a Caché. infact, I cant remember even stepping into one. But when I heard Louise Roe had been appointed their Brand Ambassador, I thought, okay. Doesn’t make sense, but I can see why. Shes young, hip, georgous, and has a huge following. Until I walked in the store. Once in the store, I was super impressed! See Caché has completely rebranded and I have to say, they’ve done a great job.

Here is my quick interview with Louise (in the changing room of the Flagship store). Louise quipped,”This is my first time doing an interview in a dressing room”. Cool, I thought, at least it’ll be a memorable one.

MA: How did the partnership with Caché come about?
LR: They reached out to me. They like my style and what I stand for. I like empowering women to feel good about themselves. And the collection really resonated with me. The fairytale dresses and the fact that they aren’t only doing dresses which allows for a lot of other special occasions.

MA: You are a fellow blogger and I love your blog. Where do you draw inspiration for the content?
LR: I have a magazine background, having worked at Elle, Style & Vogue so I couldn’t really leave that behind. I draw inspiration from travel, culture and trends. I also like it to have the feel of a big sister giving advise and sharing it with others rather than being didactic.

MA: What is the one trend every girl should follow for spring? (her eyes lid up and immediately ran to grab this dress).
LR: I think for the season, the barely there strap is really alluring. I like the very lady like, sexy negligee feel but not so plain and not so formal either. Something you can wear during the day but also transition it to night.

MA: What advise can you give every girl when getting dressed each day?
LR: Two things. One, Start with the shoe (a girl after my own heart). Doing that will give you the right direction of the feel you are going for. Two, it should always work for you and what is comfortable for you, and what your day is going to be.

Check out Louise Roe’s Blog for a daily dose of inspiration and seriously if you are in need of a dress for a special occasion head down to Caché. They are located at Fashion Show Mall right next to Neiman Marcus. My dear girlfriend is getting married and I am already eyeing a this one for rehearsal dinner, this one for her, and this one for a night out.

XxOx, Marisela
