Listen, a cape is not the most practical item of clothing to invest in. Especially when you can throw a blazer or coat you already have in you closet over your shoulders and achieve the same result. But I do blog about fashion and capes are kind of a big deal right now so I had to get one. You might of seen this post and I specifically got it for this occasion knowing that I was going to throw is off as soon as the DJ played my favorite song and I haven’t really had a reason to wear it again since then. That’s why I am happy to have only spent like $58 on it over at Nasty Gal. They are definitely one of my go to sites for novelty fashion pieces or trend pieces. It’s affordable and you won’t feel bad about spending money on pieces that you know will only get a little play. So if you haven’t yet check out Nasty Gal (I’m always surprised when people say they’ve never heard of it), Its well curated with pieces to keep you on trend with bank friendly pieces.
Well hello there! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday. We started ours a little rough mostly due to travel and delays on American Airlines Flights. No joke, every single one of our flights was delayed. I guess they run on a skeleton crew during big holidays and traveling on actual Christmas day you can always expect to endure delays so we spent most of Christmas day in airport bars. Once we got to our destination (Pete’s hometown) it couldn’t have been better. On our return flight, American offed to upgrade us to first class for all of our “inconveniences” and I of course was not going to decline.
