WHAT TO WEAR (OFFICE HOLIDAY PARTY)

DSC_3947

Happy FRIDAY! We’ve made it through another week. I think that deserves a glass of wine!

It’s obviously party season. Over the next few weeks, Ill sprinkle in a few posts with outfit ideas. But, I just want to be up front, Don’t expect to see any dresses. When it comes to dressing for cocktail parties for me wearing a cocktail dress isn’t that exciting. I trust that we can all walk into a store and find a cute dress, you don’t need my help with that. Now if you want to know where I would look for that dress, I can help with that. What I’ll be sharing is an alternative to just wearing a cocktail dress for the days you don’t feel like wearing one

For this first look I thought about what I would wear to an office or work related holiday party. When it comes to work, I like to err on the side of conservative and just make sure my outfit has festive touches. While this look is still conservative, I feel the cropped wide leg adds that cool factor and the feathers and metallic touch brings in the festive flare. The best part is that you now have two separate pieces you can incorporate into your wardrobe all year round. This feather top would look cute with skinny jeans and the pants can be styled for anything!
