Hey guys, Happy Monday! I am beat today. It is almost 3pm and I am still in my PJ’s. Easton has been going through a grow spurt the last two days and has been a little fussy (by a little I mean a lot). He’s feeding every hour, and if I don’t feed him immediately he loses his mind and cries as if it was the end of the world. Not to mention sleep has been rough, but I am hoping that we are at the end of if. Fingers crossed!
Last week I shared my Newborn Survival must haves and today, I am going to share with you a tool that helped me keep my mind straight. I didn’t know how important it was to keep track of your newborns feedings, and diaper changes. While in the hospital they gave me a little piece of paper and when we came home, I tried to use a cute planner but it just wasn’t an efficient option for us. We found hat we were constantly forgetting to log and with everything else going on, sharing one planner for two people just wasn’t working. So I decided to search for an app to help me and I stumbled upon Glow Baby.
There are probably hundreds of apps out there, but I found that Glow Baby is the most comprehensive one that I found. This App lets you keep track of pretty much everything from feedings, diaper changes, pumping, sleep patterns and even symptoms. We only use the the feeding and diaper change options, but what I love about it, is that you can give access to multiple users like, your spouse and care givers. It really has given me the piece of mind when I am away from him. I can hop on the app and see if he’s been fed or his diaper has been changed.

I love that it gives you the option to log wether, you breast fed (which has a built in timer for each side) or bottle fed formula or breast milk.
For the diaper change function it gives you the ability to track bowel movements by type. One day, pete accidentally hit, red and I freaked out thinking had blood in his stool.
This app is super easy to use. It’s very intuitive.
