Happy Monday! I hope all you mamas survived the time change. I braced myself for the biggest battle based on all the stories and personal friend experiences, but little fella handled it like a champ. Easton woke up at his regular time which would have been 6:30 to 7:30 spring forward time and we just started his day schedule from there. The only different thing we did, is kept his naps to no longer than an hour and we planned on pushing bedtime until 7 pm exactly which means he would be down by 7:30 pm. But he started showing us signs that he was ready for bed by 6:15 so we did regular bedtime and we were both shocked how easy it was. Just in case your wondering, his usual bedtime routine starts at 6:15/6:30 and he’s usually out cold by 6:45/7. Easton will be 9 months tomorrow and I plan on doing a full update which will include his schedule, etc.
How good is this Kimono top? If you follow me on Instagram, you saw me do a try on while at the store. I originally didn’t get it, got something else and I wasn’t happy with it so I ended up exchanging it for this top and I am so happy I did. It’s so flattering and really covers the full gamut of problem areas. The kimono sleeves are great for those who want to cover their upper arms, the tie at the waist emphasizes the waist (who doesn’t want that) and the asymmetrical point in the middle brings the eye in which makes you appear slimmer! Such a good top and it’s only $49.
Also, remember the try on session I did with the Shopbop Levi’s vs the actual Levi’s store Levi’s, and how I was going to return the shopbop levis because they were more expensive? Well, I ended up keeping them all. They were just all too good. The wash on these is so good. These (all wedgie fit) have some stretch to them so order your regular size and they will stretch a little.
