It’s like, how many little black dresses does one need? I say as many as you can find that fit you like it was made for you! I always here people say, you only need one, and I’m like, ew how boring would it be to wear the same little black dress ALL. THE. TIME! I think it’s a good idea to have few so that you have options and that way when you do reach for one, it feels fresh again.

I found this gem at Macy’s. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how reduced it was. I almost didn’t get it, because I was like, do I really need another LBD. After I tried it on, I said to myself, yes, I do need another one. This is such a versatile LBD. The double breast front and off the shoulder fit are everything. This will work from date night, to black tie. I am obsessed with this dress. Now I just need somewhere to go. LOL.

On a real note, I originally got this dress thinking I could wear it for date night….. Then the reality kicked in. Prior to having a baby, we had so much freedom, did what ever we pleased, went to expensive dinners all the time without even thinking about it, we never made it feel like a special occasion and we definitely never used the term Date Night to describe our nights out, because well, they were frequent. Now that I we have a baby, I realize how much we took that granted. The last two months have been baby, baby, baby. And I am absolutely all about my baby, but I yearn for a date night. But, how do you do date night when you never did it before? And not to mention we don’t have a nanny (yet) and I am sure finding someone to trust with our child is going to be really hard. SO I need some ideas from you mamas out there STAT (for the sake of my relationship and sanity) How do you do date night with a new baby?

Thanks, Marisela

Happy Monday! I hope all you mamas survived the time change. I braced myself for the biggest battle based on all the stories and personal friend experiences, but little fella handled it like a champ. Easton woke up at his regular time which would of been 6:30 so 7:30 spring forward time and we…

Hey! I am not usually one for overly trendy style, but I do happen to like this deconstructed button up trend. But, since of my cardinal rules is to not spend top dollars on trend items, I struggled to find an affordable option that fit well, and not require alterations because I don’t have time to run…
