I am in a rut. I haven’t felt inspired & the heat sucks. I haven’t done anything fun or exciting lately, I haven’t seen a good movie, had a good cry, or danced with my girlfriends in a long time. I feel like I haven’t fed my soul, is that weird? But today, I finally feel excited. So far this upcoming weekend is gonna be packed with fun. Chelsea Handler with my girls on Friday night, and Saturday Morning I Jet off to Victoria, Canada (I’m tagging along on Pete’s business trip) for a quick three day trip where we will Whale watch and zipping line. I can’t wait!

Continuing the topic of summer dressing/uniform. Natural fibers is the way to go! Cotton is the freindliest fabrics for hot summer days. Not only does it allow your body to breath, but if you happen to sweat, it will absorb it and dry fast. When it comes to denim, look for 100% cotton (this means no stretch) so you will have to go up a size for proper fit or less than 2% spandex/elastine.
