A T-shirt and jeans has become my “mommyform” until I can figure out the balance of wanting to get everything done while Easton naps. The list of things that need to get done usually consists of eat, pee, pump, and clean and what I am going to wear for the day is usually at the bottom of the list. By the time I get to what I am wearing for the day. I usually end up racing against time and end up in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I’ve reached for dresses a few times only to find myself changing half way through the day because when I find myself on the floor doing tummy time or bending over to grab something out of the diaper bag at the bottom of the stroller, I end up flashing my goods to the world so dresses are out of the questions for the time being.
Believe me, I am not complaining, I’ve always loved basics, but before baby they were an after thought, something I threw together to run to the grocery store, a quick shopping trip, or to lounge around the house in. Fast forward to post baby, I want to feel good in them too and one way I’ve managed to feel better when just wearing a pair of jeans & a t-shirt is to pair them with statement accessories to help elevate the look; and add some interest and to distract from the fact that I am wearing just a plain white tee & jeans, LOL.
Bare with me as I figure how to navigate this new schedule and mommy friendly style options.
