With only a few months to go until our Bebè  gets here, I am trying my hardest to not spend money on clothes I will only wear for a few more months. I will tell you that it is super hard. I’m starting to realize that dressing the bump is not the easiest to do with out actually wearing maternity clothes. But I’m finding it to be such a struggle not to catch myself browsing the “maternity section” of my favorite online retailers. And since most of us don’t have unlimited shopping budgets, I try to share with you all smart purchases that can work for multiple seasons and Maternity is just not on that list. Thats not to say I have not purchased any maternity pieces, because I have. But I limited my purchases to the essentials. Pieces that I would wear regularly; a few pair of jeans that were very affordable, and 3 maternity t-shirtst after I realized my regular t-shirts were no longer covering my belly. LOL. That gets me to this outfit. If you are expecting and you have somewhere to go, don’t feel like you have to go out and buy something to wear. Find something in your closet that will work. I promise you have something! It did take me 45 minutes and a little breakdown to come up with this outfit, but I am happy I took the time. You have seen this dress here, and this sweater, probably 10 times on the blog, but I think together they made a chic little black outfit for a night out. I added a statement shoe and printed bag to more dimension and spruce it up.

I’m sure it’s difficult to dress the bump… but you still look amazing! Loving the shoes!

Happy Monday! I hope all you mamas survived the time change. I braced myself for the biggest battle based on all the stories and personal friend experiences, but little fella handled it like a champ. Easton woke up at his regular time which would of been 6:30 so 7:30 spring forward time and we…

Hey! I am not usually one for overly trendy style, but I do happen to like this deconstructed button up trend. But, since of my cardinal rules is to not spend top dollars on trend items, I struggled to find an affordable option that fit well, and not require alterations because I don’t have time to run…
