Nothing is sweeter than a Eyelet Baby Doll dress, but it was too girlie for me, so I had my tailor turn it into this top (a great way to repurpose dresses sitting in your closet). I paired it with my favorite boy jeans, tough accent sandals and a pink purse. What do you guys think? Good balance of feminine & masculine, or no?
In the next three looks, I will show you how to mix feminine with masculine. You have probably noticed that I pretty much always have a masculine touch to my wardrobe. The best way for me to describe my style, is it’s the daughter of Sandy & Danny from the Movie Grease. It’s tomboy with a classic girly touch. I feel most comfortable in baggy clothes, but prettier in high heels. If I look too girlie/sweet I feel off balance, but if I’m too masculine I don’t feel pretty and when I look sexy I get really self conscious.
