THE ONLY DOWN FALL

DSC_4361

Trust me when I say I don’t have much to complain about with this pregnancy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, nausea or any other pregnancy symptoms other than extreme fatigue during the first trimester. It was unreal.  This second trimester has really lived up to the hype of being the easiest. The only down fall is this in between stage. My torso is definitely starting to show signs of being pregnant, but not enough to require  investing in maternity clothes just yet. And I really don’t want to buy non maternity because I know in a few weeks everything will have to be put away until summer.  So I have I really put off buying anything new for now and just relying on items I already have in my closet. This Vince sweater has been in my closet for 3 years, who knew it would eventually become my “maternity” go to. I love it because it hides the bulk of the rubber band holding my jeans together. LOL. But, this in-between period hasn’t stopped me from adding to my shoe collection  A girls gotta get her fix somehow, right? I scored these Stuart Weitzman boots during the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale for half the price! However I have now heard and read horror stories of women’s feet growing a whole size after pregnancy. That would be a travesty, THE HORROR!

Any Mamàs out there, where did you find cute, affordable,  maternity clothes? Help a sista out!

XxOx, Marisela

You Go Girl Congrads on the Bun in the Oven. I am not a blogger, but I look at them. Brooklyn Blonde, WhatWouldVWear, CuteandLittle, and Beauticurve all had great maternity looks. The bloggers range from petite to curvy but just a few to give you some ideas. When I was pregnant, I did A Pea in A Pod.

SANDAL SEASON IS HERE. ARE YOU READY?

For us here in Las Vegas warm temps and sandal season started a while back which means before we slip on all those cute sandals well pedicured feet are a must. Around here a pedicure costs about $30 and because of our dry weather I find myself in that chair quite frequent, and it was getting…

Easy breezy is the name of the game until I pop this little guy out. For one, it’s the easiest to shop for in non maternity because of the obvious flowy fits, but I have also found that anything too fitted is just not agreeing with me for two reasons. One, I’ve gained 26 pounds…
