Happy Mother Effing Friday! I don’t know why, but I feel haggard this week. All I can say is that I am happy the weekend is here so that Papa can help me keep an eye on my BUSY little fella.

Two weekends ago I jetted off to Napa with a few girlfriends. A close friend is getting married and Napa is on her list of possible locations. We flew into Oakland and stopped in San Fran for oysters at Leo’s Oyster Bar near Union Square (all the shopping). I highly recommend it! I also got a lot of questions about the AirBB we stayed in. It was perfect(the pictures don’t do it justice.. It is located in north Napa, and minutes away from Yountville which has cute shops and great restaurants. It’s also 20 minutes from St. Helena which is a super cute town with good shopping. Napa is one of our favorite getaways and I really need to do a post featuring our favorite wineries, restaurants, etc.

I casually mentioned it before, but my girlfriend and I are starting a podcast and we recorded our first episode this week. We’re rusty, but I am sure it’s one of those things that will get better with time. We hope to have the first episode up within the next week.

I finally finished The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It was really good and I highly recommend it. The message is right in line with current events.  Next up on my list is the new season of The Path on hulu and we started Peaky Blinders on Netflix and so far so good.

I recently discovered the brand Genuine People and I am kind of obsessed. I’ve got my eye on these pants, this sweater, and these overalls. I am not sure on the fit yet, so I am doing some research to find out how they fit. If I do order something, I will let you know.

Easton has full on four teeth! I can’t believe this kid is growing so fast. He isn’t quite full on crawling, but he’s so close. He’s getting on all fours and starting to get he coordination down. The little fella loves to eat. If he sees me eating something he immediately becomes very excited. I usually have to give him something to eat or snack on to make him happy. So far there has not been anything he will not eat.

If you follow me on Insta you know I am having issues with postpartum hair loss. It’s been about two weeks since I added biotin to my vitamin intake and I think it’s helping tremendously. I do notice a difference in the amount that is falling out when dry brushing and from what I am seeing on the floor when I sweep. I am current taking 1000mg + prenatal and collagen peptides.

I haven’t don’t much cooking this week, but I did manage to make Arroz Con Pollo (Spanish chicken and rice). I followed this recipe and at the end, I put it under the broiler to make the skin crispy.

So far I am holding to my new year resolutions (mostly). I still struggle with making my bed every day, I don’t know why. I a listening to more music, mostly Spanish. Right now I want anything Maluma.

This weekend we are planning on taking little fella up to the mountains to see snow, and probably stopping by the women’s march on Sunday. I hope you have a great weekend.
