Working out has become such a big part of my life. In the past I tittered with it, and would do it for a few months, then take a break, a long break. I always thought because I am naturally thin working out on a regular basis was not important. Well let me tell you, that is not the case. My body started showing the signs that come with the lack of exercise and now I have to work twice as hard to try and get it back. If you follow me on Snapchat (@diversecitystyl) then you already know that I am hooked on Pilates Reformer. At the same time I was getting a little bored doing the same routines and felt like my body was starting to plateau. A friend recommended I try class pass (which gives access to almost all of the workout studios in your city) and I am absolutely in love with the options. Don’t get me wrong, I still do Pilates at least twice a week, but I have been able to find instructors who offer a higher intensity pilates session, but at the same time I’ve been able to switch up my workouts and I am starting to see the results I have been looking for. If you would like me to do a post on the classes and studios I love so far, let me know.
Now that working out has become such a huge part of my life, I needed some new work out gear. However, I am not the kind of person who walks around in workout gear as regular clothes so spending a ton of money on pieces I am going to wear an hour a week is not an option. To replenish my gear I headed to Marshalls. I swear I am always surprised by what I am able to find there. They literally have everything you need to start your journey towards a healthier body. You can get everything from gear, like these pants and bralette, to a great yoga mat, hand weights, water bottles resistance bands, no joke I even found Pilates Socks. You know the ones with the stickies on the bottom. Yeah, exactly.
Thanks for stopping by and hop on over to my snapchat to keep up with my workouts!
